10x10 Mini Capsule: November

Lately, I've been thinking about kicking off a new series here on The Closet Journal, where I can show you how a small, thoughtfully curated wardrobe filled with timeless pieces can be super chic and versatile. Sounds fun, right?

So, let's talk about the 10x10 challenge! I love doing this a few times a year, especially when the seasons are switching up. It's that in-between phase where I'm not quite ready with my seasonal capsule wardrobe, but at the same time, I need a minor closet update due to the weather change.

For today's challenge, I picked out eight clothing pieces and two pairs of shoes—accessories such as hats, bags, belts, and gloves are not included in the ten items, but I would recommend not going too crazy with that as well.

Yep, you guessed it—only pants and neutral tones in today's inspirations! But hey, that's the power of a versatile wardrobe ;) I promise I'll spice things up with a silky dress, heels, and maybe a pop of color in my future posts, but for now, I wanted to stick with realistic winter outfits that match my everyday wardrobe and the colors I wear most:

What I chose:

1. Camel coat - ARITZIA

2. Beige sweater - THE CURATED , similar HERE

3. White shirt - ANINE BING , similar HERE

4. Black rollneck - EVERLANE

5. Grey cardigan - ARKET , similar HERE

6. Ivory jeans - MASSIMO DUTTI

7. Blue jeans - RE/DONE

8. Slim joggers - CUYANA

9. Black boots - EVERLANE , similar HERE

10. Sneakers - VEJA

What I love about the 10x10 challenge is how it reshapes the way I view my closet. It pushes me to get creative and think outside the box with the pieces I already have. And the best part? There are no strict rules here! The only thing to keep in mind when choosing ten pieces is to ask yourself two questions:

- What activities have you planned for the next ten days?

- What is the weather going to look like?

Everything else depends only on you and your creativity, ingenuity, and inspiration! So, are you ready to grab ten items (including outerwear and shoes) from your closet to mix and match for the next ten days? ;)

Happy styling!
